Position Responsibilities

A highly respected and reputable Healthcare Organization in Orange County is currently searching for a detail-oriented, experienced, self-motivated, highly organized, Staff Accountant who will be responsible to perform a wide variety of accounting duties. The successful applicant will be a career minded professional and have a positive attitude.

Duties and responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the Monthly Financial Statement preparation
  • Account reconciliations
  • Journal entries
  • Update and produce various accounting reports as required
  • High Level Analysis of Financial Statements
  • Budget Preparation and Analysis
  • Accounts Payable and Payroll backup
  • Transactional Audits
  • Special projects as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following:               

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Knowledgeable in GAAP
  • Systems experience:
    • Professional working knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions software
    • Paychex payroll systems
    • MS Office Suite, specifically intermediate user experience in Excel., Word, and Outlook
    • General computer skills, including internet usage
  • Experience in a multi-company accounting environment preferred
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Excellent, effective and professional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Superb multi-tasking and time management skills, with excellent organization skills
